Irina was inspired to be a co-founder of Attenda Home Care through years of experience with patient care as a nurse since 1991. She earned an Adult Nurse Practitioner degree through George Mason University in collaboration with George Washington University. As a resident of Northern Virginia since 1999, Irina has worked locally as a Private Duty Nurse, a Critical Care Registered Nurse in Cardiac Telemetry, a Registered Nurse in Medical-Surgical/Oncology, and as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in a variety of inpatient/outpatient settings. Her background includes caring for hospice patients and those with cardiac, respiratory, Alzheimer’s, and Multiple Sclerosis disabilities. This extensive experience has equipped Irina with a wide span of knowledge in health care management, which she marries with her compassionate and caring approach to our clients’ needs.

As the Director of Operations, Irina is responsible for meeting with our clients and their loved ones to create a comprehensive plan of care. She will work directly with a client’s primary care physician, social worker or case manager to ensure a seamless flow of information. Irina also conducts caregiver recruiting and training on a regular basis to maintain our dedicated high standards for client care.

Employees

Our employees are carefully selected for experience and commitment in providing our standards of premier Caregiving to our client’s loved ones.  We require they have proven experience in one of the following: Experienced Caregiver, Certified Nurse Aids (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or a Personal Care Assistant (PCA).  We have an extensive pre-screening process.

Our Caregivers are:

• Criminal background screened
• Drug tested
• DMV record checked
• TB tested
• CPR or First Aid certified
• English proficient
• Interviewed personally by the Director of Client Care
• Required to pass our Caregiver and orientation written exam
• Worked status verified
